This scene combines one of my red rose pieces titled “Red Rose Elegance” with Pietà, an oil on canvas painting of 1876 by the French artist William-Adolphe Bouguereau. He painted this powerful piece after the death of his own son.

The Fine Art Prints are printed on Big Bend Baryta 310 Paper. Big Bend Baryta offers all of the rich tonality, depth, and feel of a traditional darkroom print. The paper has an elegantly smooth finish and subtle reflectivity. Big Bend has a pleasant neutral white tone imparted by a 100% barium sulfate (baryta) layer.
It is archival grade and acid free.

For my canvas prints I use the following material: Palo Duro Matte Canvas
This is a fine woven canvas specially coated for inkjet printing. The results are simply stunning with rich colors and deep blacks.Palo Duro features an elegant double weave surface texture that offers great balance between image clarity and the visual appeal of the canvas look. Color saturation is excellent and black density is deep and bold with both dye and pigment inks. Palo Duro Matte Canvas is made using 65% polyester and 35% cotton content.
